There are over fifty golf courses on the "Costa del Golf". The nearest to Benalmadena is Golf Torrequebrada, designed by Pepe Garcedo and consisting of 18 holes over 5,763 m with a par of 72. This course was opened in 1976 and has hosted the Spanish open. A regular at the course is Miguel Angel Jimenez who lives locally.

Facilities include a pro shop, putting green, swimming pool, sauna, paddle tennis, restaurant, bar, clubhouse, dressing rooms and showers. Rental clubs, trolleys and buggies are available. Due to its popularity, tee times should be reserved in advance.

The new Benalmadena municipal par 3 golf course has now opened. Price for 9 holes is 13 euro plus 3 euro to hire a half set of clubs. There is also a floodlit driving range with 48 coverered tees and an officially recognised bowling green with bowls and shoes available for hire. Tel. 0902102676. Website.
